Last night I sold my perfectly lovely antique wrought iron old original one of a kind type of thing you search for for years but could never afford to ship to Europe bed.
How sad! (I've heard that giving away most of one's belongings is agonizing at first, but that afterward it is freeing. Actually, I had a dream last week that my house burned to the ground and in my dream I was truly relieved to get rid of all my junk like that. Sick, huh?)

Pity you couldn't just twist the bed post and fly on it to Europe in "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" style!!
Here's to your experience there being even more beautiful that your bed....

I can see why it was hard to part with such a lovely bed!
I'm really glad we crossed paths, even though it was briefly. I enjoy your writing and hope to stay up on all your European advantures.

I bet you'll get an even pretty bed in the Alps...one that looks over lush greenery and exotic landscapes. You won't even miss that ol' bed. ;)
