Samson

I have this song on repeat today. Regina Spektor's sultry voice and lyrical lyrics always make me want to listen again and again. I've had a very quiet, reflectful day and this tune fits it perfectly. Plus, the music video is just poetically lovely, like the artist herself

I hadn't heard this before. Sexy and funny ("he ate a slice of Wonder bread and went right back to bed" ???). It's fun to give female characters in male texts a first-person point-of-view and voice--that is, if she is Delilah. I can't tell ("the Bible didn't mention us, I loved you first"). Spunky and different, in a smooth sort of way. I like it. Cool drawing on video.

Kia ora D'Arcy,
Beautiful song, and I love the lyrics, will have to listen again, and again!
I just posted a few shots from a weekend of stunning music - including the violin. Thought of you while these wonderful sounds reverberated through our house. Cheers!
