beautiful pictures, d'arcy, and the lighting is great! i've been meaning to ask you if you ever do anything...those reflector thingys, or anything like that, to control the lighting when you shoot (you can tell how little i know about photography now, can't ya? reflector-thingys? i'm ashamed.)
jo--i don't know that much either. I have used the reflector thingys, but it's hard to
a) have an extra set of hands at a photo shoot
b) make those extra set of hands read your mind without you feeling all bossy and demanding
So now I just play with the natural light. There are very good times of day to take photos, as I am sure you know. The one of the bride on the previous was taken with an overhead awning to rule out direct sunlight, but at that time of day when the sun is just glowing...around 5 o'clock.
I think it worked. I love those bridals!
